Men's Club Media Potpourri: A Man Called Intrepid

  • Congregation Beth Shalom, Oak Park, MI 14601 Lincoln Rd. Oak Park, MI, 48237 USA

This is the continuation of a monthly series featuring a presentation about poetry, photography, music, movies, drama. This month's topic is A Book review by Jerry Lapides on "A Man Called Intrepid," which reveals the documents from 1939 that were secret and were released by the British in 1972. Jerry will focus on the period when the Europeans and Americans tried to appease Hitler.

The Men's Club Media Potpourri presents programs on noteworthy people with a Jewish connection. Our goal is to offer an opportunity to participate in an informal, stimulating presentation and discussion.

If you have suggestions for future topics, be sure to let Ted Friedman know at tedfriedman.atty@gmail.com or 248-358-0137.

Everyone is welcome. Membership in the Men's Club is not a prerequisite to attend. Our aim is to attract everyone who wants to participate in an informal, stimulating presentation and discussion, which will provide a break from your usual routine.

(Shacharit is at 9:00 AM, followed by breakfast - please come help make a minyan if you can before the event!)
